During her four years at Bridgewater College, Sharon Will was one of the most dominant athletes of her era. Sharon played three sports at Bridgewater, participating in basketball and lacrosse for four years while playing field hockey for one season.
Sharon excelled on the basketball court where she ranked among the team leaders in scoring, rebounding and shooting percentage. She was a co-captain for three years and was the second female basketball player to score 1,000 points as she finished her career with 1,008 points. She accumulated her stats without the aid of the 3-point shot. Sharon was selected to the all-state basketball team following her junior and senior seasons. She also was a standout on the lacrosse field where she was an all-state selection for four straight years and a co-captain for two.
Additionally, Sharon was also involved in other areas of campus life at BC. She was a May court representative as a sophomore, a member of the Lambda Society, Honor Council, and president of the Women's Athletic Association. Sharon graduated cum laude with a degree in Health and Physical Education.
Following graduation, Sharon continued to lead in the field of athletics as a successful coach at the middle school and high school levels. She coached field hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and soccer. Sharon also served as an athletics director for 13 years.
