Familiar with the Area?

I-81 traveling North:

  • Take Exit 240 – Bridgewater/Mt. Crawford exit
  • Turn LEFT onto Rt. 257 West
  • Follow Rt. 257 West for 2.7 miles to the brick entrance gates of the college
  • At the entrance gates turn left on College View Drive and follow .3 mile to the stop sign. Turn right on College Street and go .3 mile. On the left you will see a sign for the admissions office in Yount Hall. Just past the sign you can turn left into a visitor parking lot beside the admissions office.

I-81 traveling South:

  • Take Exit 240 – Bridgewater/Mt. Crawford exit
  • Turn RIGHT onto Rt. 257 West
  • Follow Rt. 257 West for 2.7 miles to the brick entrance gates of the college

FACILITY POLICIES:

General:
- Bridgewater College is a non-smoking campus.
- Alcohol is not allowed on campus, including athletics venues and parking lots, with the exception of designated areas subject to football tailgating guidelines: https://www.bridgewater.edu/community-members/football-tailgating/
- Any bags may be subject to inspection, to ensure the safety of our facilities.
- Where pets are allowed, pets must be on a leash and are not allowed on playing surfaces at any time.

Jopson Athletic Complex (Stadium):
- Coolers are not allowed into the stadium.
- Parking behind Nininger Hall is strictly for game officials and personnel and team buses.
- Umbrellas are not allowed in the seating area of the stadium.
- Noisemakers are banned from the stadium.

Football: 
- During home football games, pets of all types (other than service animals) are not allowed inside the gates. This includes the bleachers and surrounding areas.
- Outside food and drink are not allowed at football contests.
- Gates open and tickets sales for football contests begin 90 minutes before game time.

Nininger Hall:
- Gate entry and ticket sales for basketball contests begin 60 minutes before game time.
- Parking behind Nininger Hall is strictly for game officials and personnel and team buses.

Visiting Team Meals:
- Efforts will be made to accommodate a postgame meal for visiting teams and family members.
- Indoor rain locations may not be available.

Visiting Football Tailgating
- Tailgating for visiting teams is allowed in the Alumni Gym Lot (Campus Map provided on our website). Tailgating spots are $25 each. Tailgating is not allowed at any other parking lots on campus. The College acquires an ABC license for all home football contest only. For any visiting parent group questions please email Becky Hylton (bhylton2@bridgewater.edu).

Accessibility at Home Venues

TICKETS:

- Tickets are sold for football and basketball games only, with the exception of postseason events.
- Football - $10 for adults, $8 seniors, $6 for students, children under six are free.
- Basketball - $6 for adults, $5 seniors, $4 for students, children under six are free.
- BC Faculty, Staff and Students are admitted free of charge.
(Seniors - Age 62 and older)
- Gates open and tickets sales begin 90 minutes before game time at football, and 60 minutes before game time at basketball.
