Teams of Distinction

In 2019, Bridgewater College began recognizing Teams of Distinction. The process is similar to the Hall of Fame recognition in that past teams from Bridgewater College that excelled on the playing field can be nominated for the honor. Eligible teams include, but are not limited to, conference champions and regional and national tournament participants. The first team honored was the 2001 Bridgewater football team that played for the Division III National Championship in Salem, Va., at the Stagg Bowl.
