She was a member of the historic 1997-98 NCAA tournament where she put together a double-double (24 points and 16 rebounds) to help defeat Christopher Newport 90-87 in the Round of 32 and push BC to its first-ever Sweet 16 appearance.

After graduating from Bridgewater College in 2000, Amanda discovered a joy in retail and fashion merchandising, where she quickly found her niche in growing businesses and developing talent. Her leadership and business acumen earned national recognition during her employment with several Fortune 500 companies. In 2020, Amanda decided to forge a new path away from retail multi-unit management and into Human Resource Consulting. This strategic pivot allowed Amanda to continue
utilizing her skills and expertise in a more flexible role. Most importantly, it has enabled her to spend more time with family and be more involved with her church.
