Jay finished his career with 1,505 receiving yards.

In 1975, C. Jay served as captain of the football team and turned in one of the best individual seasons in BC football history. He also received honorable mention on the Associated Press Small College All-American squad.

Following graduation, C. Jay embarked on a career in education. He has been a long-time teacher and coach at Waynesboro (Va.) High School, coaching football, tennis and basketball.
