N. Paige Will was a standout in cross-country and track as a student at Bridgewater College.

Paige lettered three years in cross-country and was team captain in 1954. The cross-country team won the Mason-Dixon Conference meet in 1952 and placed second in 1953 and 1954.

Paige also served as co-captain of the 1955 track team and lettered in track all four years. He held the school record in both the 440-yard dash and 880-yard dash. The team placed first in the Virginia Little Six meet in 1952, second in 1953 and won the Mason-Dixon Conference meet in 1952.

Paige also was the first Bridgewater student to take part in the cooperative program with Duke University's School of Forestry, receiving the master of forestry degree from Duke in 1960.

In 1962, Paige introduced discount retail furniture to Rockingham County when he opened Town and Country Furniture in Dayton. In 1987, he was a partner in the establishment of the Dayton Farmers Market. He was a co-recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1994.

He also has been active in civic and community activities. He served on the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors from 1996-2000 and was chair in 1998. He has served as president of the Bridgewater Little League program and is a charter member of the Central Valley Habitat for Humanity Chapter. He also built the Doug Will Tennis Center in Bridgewater in honor of his son who died in an automobile accident.

As a standout student-athlete at Bridgewater College, a successful businessman and a leader in the community, N. Paige Will is an obvious choice to be inducted into the Bridgewater College Athletic Hall of Fame.
