Llewellyn led the basketball team in each of her first three seasons in the program. After scoring 12 points per game in her first year, Llewellyn averaged 16.1 points per game as a sophomore and was named to the All-ODAC first team. She turned in another strong season as a junior, averaging 12.1 points per game. Llewellyn was limited to just four games as a senior due to injury, finishing her career with 1,001 points. She is one of just 21 players in program history to surpass the 1,000-point career scoring mark, and her 493 career rebounds ranked in the top 10 all-time when she graduated. During her four years on the basketball court, the Eagles posted an overall record of 59-43 and reached the ODAC Championship game in each of her final three seasons.

Llewellyn was also a standout on the volleyball court, earning All-ODAC recognition three times. After being named to the All-ODAC second team during her sophomore and junior seasons, Llewellyn was named to the All-ODAC first team and the All-South Region team after a strong senior campaign. Llewellyn was a key player for the Eagles in 1988 as the volleyball team won the program’s first ODAC Championship. The Eagles made their first trip to the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 33-2 record. During her four seasons, the volleyball team posted an overall record of 105-23.

Llewellyn holds professional memberships in the American Institute of CPAs and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She is currently a partner at Gregg & Bailey P.C. in Midlothian, Va. She has also been active in area Rotary Clubs and spends much of her free time watching her son and daughter play sports.

In recognition of her excellent play on both the basketball and volleyball courts, Beth Kitts Llewellyn is deserving of induction into the Bridgewater College Athletic Hall of Fame.
