SALEM, Va. - Bridgewater men's track & field competed at the Joe LaRocco Invitational at Cregger Center Saturday.

Bennett Cupps started the day taking sixth with another personal best in the 3,000m with a time of 8:54.95. 

Bridgewater also took fourth landing a season best time in the 4x400m (Cy Alderman, Joe Amlacher, Lauchnor Lamb, Gabe Wylie) with a time of 3:30.58. 

Mike Smith placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 16.72m and Jesus Flores threw a mark of 15.43m setting a personal best and a fifth-place finish. 

Flores also had a personal best in the shot put which led the way throwing 14.84m and Smith followed closely behind in second with a mark of 14.69m.  

The men compete next at the newly-built facility at the Rockingham Indoor Facility in Harrisonburg, Va., on Friday, Feb. 21.
