CHESTER, Pa. - Bridgewater men's track & field athletes Joe Amlacher, Bennett Cupps, and Trey Birchett competed at the Widener Final Qualifier Monday to continue pushing for a spot in nationals.
Amlacher finished with a time of 14.97 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles. His best time came at the ODAC Outdoor Championships where he cruised to an explosive 14.74 time and claimed the individual event title. He currently sits just outside the top-50 nationally while holding the second fastest time in the region.
Cupps took to the track in the 1500m closing out with a time of 3:58.67. Birchett then competed in the high jump finishing with a height of 1.84m. Cupps currently sits in 20th regionally in his respective event and Birchett ranks ninth regionally.
The Eagles next have the Augustana Final Qualifier slated on the schedule on May 15 with the NCAA Championship Selection on Sunday, May 18.
