LYNCHBURG, Va. - Bridgewater men's track & field captured top marks and record-breaking finishes at the Randolph Wildcat Invite on Saturday.
There were two individual title winners at the meet for the Eagles along with multiple strong marks across the board.
McKinley Goodbar posted a first-place result in the shot put for a personal best mark of 12.76m. Goodbar also threw a personal best in the discus for a mark of 31.23m.Â
Mike Smith led the way in both the discus with a mark of 46.81m and the hammer throw with a mark of 55.02m.
Antonio Harris and
Bryce Hoffman took third and fourth in the hammer as Harris broke a personal record of 42.13m and Hoffman set a new mark of 41.49m.Â

Walker Knicely placed fourth in the pole vault with a strong mark of 3.90m. To round out the field events,Â
Trey Birchett leaped a 1.90m result for second place in the high jump and
Mason Lawhorne finished with a fifth-place result for a solid mark of 1.75m.Â
On the track,
Bennett Cupps ran a personal best in the 800m for a time of 1:56.52 to take fourth, respectively.Â
Gabe Wylie also ran a personal best at Randolph with a time of 22.47 in the 200m, placing fourth. Â
Next up, the Eagles prepare for the ODAC championships on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 hosted by EMU in Harrisonburg, Va.
