Mayers Awarded All-ODAC First Team Honors

FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has announced women's lacrosse player Paige Mayers to All-ODAC First Team Tuesday afternoon.

Mayers started from behind missing the first few games due to injury but quickly became a factor in Bridgewater's offense in a big way. The attacking midfielder from Glen Allen, Va., stormed through opposing defenses posting a conference leading 65 goals along with 26 assists, 91 points, 34 ground balls, and 99 draw controls. Mayers entered the program record books currently holding the second-most draw controls in a single season in program history and fifth all-time with 144 total draw controls in only two seasons played.

The Eagles were stopped by the Roanoke Maroons in the ODAC quarterfinals round after securing the sixth seed with an overall record of 10-9 and a conference record of 5-5.
