FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has set the official women's lacrosse tournament field with the first round scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 26. Bridgewater has secured the sixth seed and will host No. 7 seed Virginia Wesleyan at Jopson Athletic Complex. 

The other first round game will feature No. 8 seed Ferrum at No. 5 seed Lynchburg on Saturday.  

Bridgewater enters the matchup against the Marlins with an overall record of 9-8 and a conference record of 5-5. The Marlins also finished out the season with an overall record of 9-8 and conference record of 5-5.  The Eagles had the edge over Virginia Wesleyan with league goal differential. 

Washington & Lee and Shenandoah advance straight to the semifinals with hosting rights as the Generals grabbed the No. 1 seed with an undefeated conference record and the Hornets took the second seed with a record of 8-2 in the ODAC. 

Both Roanoke and Randolph-Macon earned first-round byes and automatically advance to the quarterfinals. 

The quarterfinals round is set for Tuesday, April 29 with the semifinals on Friday, May 2 and the finals on Sunday, May 4.
