BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater baseball athlete Zack Chadwell received national recognition from the 2025 season as D3baseball.com landed Chadwell on the All-American Fifth Team selection announced Wednesday.
Chadwell entered the record books in numerous offensive categories as well as becoming the first All-American selection in program history since 2004. The last time the program received All-American recognition was back in 2013.
The Chesapeake, Va., native put up massive numbers in his junior season. Chadwell broke the school record in a season for most walks (42) while also tying the program record for second-most runs batted in in a season (59). Chadwell launched 16 homers out of the ballpark along with a .393 season batting average. The designated hitter also slashed 1.346 OPS for the season. In addition to All-American status, Chadwell received All-ODAC First Team and All-Region honors.
