BRIDGEWATER,Va. - Willow Wright of the Bridgewater College equestrian team was named the ODAC Co-Rookie of the Year in the flat.

The conference office announced its single discipline awards on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the league's head-to-head championships later this week.

Wright earns the honor along with Sewanee's Irene Boehm after earning the same honor at the ODAC Traditional Championships last week. Wright is 5-2-1 in single-discipline flat competition with two MOP honors and an average score of 75.8 and a high of 85.

The Eagles are back in action on Thursday in the opening round of the ODAC Head-to-Head Tournament against Berry at 11 a.m.
