STAUNTON, Va. - The Bridgewater College NCEA Riding team fell 7-2 to Berry on Saturday at Cedar Creek Stables in Staunton.

Bridgewater got on the board over fences. Madeleine Granger got a point with an 84.0 on Cooley, while Willow Wright earned a point with a 76.0 on Ernie. 

Berry took a 3-2 lead after fences and swept the the points on the flat with the exception on Wright's 75.0 that forced a split on Cooley as the Vikings took the meet 7-2.

Additionally, Wright was named the Most Outsanding Performer on the flat.

BC is back in action on March 19 as the Eagles host the ODAC Traditional championship at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington.
