AMHERST, Va. – The Bridgewater College Equestrian team fell to No. 3 Sweet Briar 6-4 on Friday afternoon.
 
BC opened the meet by taking two points over fences. Willow Wright earned a 86.0 and Margarita Trukhina tallied a 75.0 to get BC on the board.
 
In the flat portion, Wright got BC back on the board with an 82.0, while Margaret Brown earned a 71.0 to get Bridgewater's fourth point of the afternoon.
 
Additionally, Wright was named Most Outstanding Performer over fences.
 
The Eagles are back in action on February 15 as they host Sewanee in Staunton, Va.
