LYNCHBURG Va. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team won 161-100 against Lynchburg in a meet this afternoon.
In event two
Zachary Erb,
Luke Wintersgill,
Andrea Cibrario, and
Connor Cayer all teamed up in the 200 yd. medley relay for a time of 1:35.29 to earn a program best.
Erb and
Kris Schultz earned the top two spots in the 200 yd. freestyle finishing with times of 1:47.89 and 1:52.07, respectively.
Cibrario earned a new program record in the 100 yd. butterfly with a win being clocked at 51.73 just a second off the previous holder.
Travis McCauley,
Thomas Rose, Cibrario, and Cayer teamed up in the 200 yd freestyle relay claiming the top spot with a time of 1:26.54 for a new program best just milliseconds off the previous record.
Tommy Ronayne and
Ean Helmlinger saw top two finishes in the 500 yd. freestyle being clocked at 5:00.41 and 5:03.12.
The Eagles will be back in action on Nov. 3 starting at 4:30 pm when the team plays host to Randolph for a duals contest.
