GREENSBORO, N.C. - Bridgewater college men's swimmer Zachary Erb made a splash in day three action at the NCAA Swimming Championships securing the second-fastest time in the 100-yard breaststroke and qualifying for the Finals A event Friday at Greensboro Aquatic Center. Erb took third in the finals.
In the preliminary session, the 100-yard breaststroke swimmer finished with a strong time of 53.19, advancing him to the A Finals.Â
Erb later in the finals placed third individually with a solid time of 53.73.Â
The McGaheysville, Va., native will return tomorrow, March 22 to take on the final individual event Erb qualified in in the 200-yard breaststroke.Â
Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. and finals will start at 6 p.m. for the final day at Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.Â
