FOREST, Va. - Senior jumper Summer Wallace of the Bridgewater College women's track and field team was named this week's ODAC field athlete of the week, announced by league office Tuesday afternoon. 

Wallace earned the honor after her performances at the Rockingham Collegiate Classic last weekend. Wallace placed first in the women's long jump with a best jump of 5.34 meters. The mark earned her first place in the meet and was two millimeters away from her best mark of the season. 

Wallace placed third in the women's high jump, clearing 1.52 meters.  

Wallace and the Eagles are set to compete in the ODAC championship meet next weekend. The meet will be held at the Cregger Center in Salem, Va. The meet will be streamed live on FloCollege.
