Tyler Carnahan secured his first win at the head of the program as the women's team took down Buena Vista 6-1 on Friday.
BC opened the match by sweeping doubles action to cl;aim the doubles point.
Jolexie Whetzel and
Sarah Slagle took a 6-4 victory at the top spot,
Raea Crabill and
Emma Staton rolled to a 6-1 victory on court 2 and
Devon Wichael and
Charlotte Weaver teamed up for a 6-2 victory at No. 3.
Slagle was the first off court in singles action with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the top slot and Whetzel followed suit with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2. Staton and Wichael did not drop a game as each waltzed to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively, while Weaver closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 6.
The Eagles return from South Carolina for an ODAC clash with No. 37 Averett at home on Tuesday.
