Tyler Carnahan

Tyler Carnahan enters his fourth season with the Eagles as an assistant coach.

The 2019 season was highlighted by men's freshman Canon Secord winning both ODAC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. The women went 9-9 overall. The 2018-19 State Player and Rookie of the Year repeated as first team All-State in 2019-20, while Whitney Kiser reached 100 career victories on the women's side.

Carnahan played on both the Bridgewater and Eastern Mennonite tennis teams while a student during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

Carnahan was the head coach for the boys' team at Eastern Mennonite High School in 2014 was was named the league's coach of the year. He has been the EMHS girls' coach since 2015. Carnahan has given lessons as a private instructor in the area since 2012 and has been a member of the Harrisonburg Tennis Patrons since 2001. He is currently vice president of instruction and recreation play for Harrisonburg Tennis Patrons.

Carnahan recently received his associates degree from Blue Ridge Community College.
