SALEM, Va. - Bridgewater women's track & field competed at the Joe LaRocco Invitational at Cregger Center Saturday.
Olivia Crigger and Olivia Bates advanced to the 60mH finals with 9.75 and 9.79 times in prelims. Crigger took sixth individually in the finals and Bates finished in eighth with a personal best of 9.75 to start the day off.Â
Summer Wallace secured a qualified time in the 60 meters with a time of 8.14. Wallace later ran a 8.22 time in the finals for seventh leaving with a personal best. Wallace also leaped a third-place result in the long jump with a mark of 5.20m.Â
Brianna Morgan threw a huge personal best in the weight throw with a 15.20m mark placing fourth individually. Abby Mikolay threw a 15.17m mark taking fifth.Â
Megan Wimmer notched a season best in the 800m with a time of 2:26.28.Â
Jade Buckles led the way in the 200 with a personal best time of 25.60. Â
Bridgewater took second place in the 4x400m (J. Buckles, Destiny Joseph, Summer Wallace, and Megan Wimmer) with a time of 4:12.35.Â
Crigger later took second with a personal best mark of 10.76m. Abby Mikolay then led the way in the shot put with a mark of 12.59m. Â
The women compete next at the newly-built Rockingham Indoor Facility in Harrisonburg, Va., on Friday, Feb. 21.
