ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Lyric Birkley and Laura Narby of the Bridgewater College women's soccer team earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections, announced by the association Tuesday morning.
Birkley was tabbed an All-Region first teamer following a historical season on the offensive end. Birkley recorded 15 assists, the most in the conference, and the most for a single-season in program history. Birkley also recorded a conference-leading 39 points, good for the second-most in program history. The Milford, Oh. native also surpassed the program records for assists and points. Birkley also earned All-ODAC first team honors and was a USC All-Region 2nd team selection last season.
Narby was named an All-Region second teamer following an explosive offensive season. The junior forward led the team in goals, and ranked top five in the conference in goals, points, and game-winning goals. Narby also earned All-ODAC first team honors.
The Eagles finished their 2025 campaign with a 15-6 record, the most wins since the 2018 season. The Eagles earned the fourth seed in the ODAC tournament. Despite falling to No. 9 Washington & Lee in the ODAC semifinals, the Eagles were the first team to score multiple goals on the Generals this season. BC made the tournament for the second time in program history and faced No. 13 Swarthmore in the first round in Cleveland, Oh. Despite falling 4-2, the Eagles scored their first goals in NCAA tournament play.
