LEXINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater women's swimming cemented a strong outing at the Keydet Invitational over three days of competition to finish in fifth place in a field of 10 teams Sunday.
Grace Warren took the competition by storm with solid results. Warren swam a 5:10.47 in the 500 freestyle, swam a 1:00.18 100 backstroke, and swam a 17:48.98 in the 1650 freestyle. Â

The women finished fifth behind Roanoke, Milligan, VMI, and Lynchburg with 351 points.Â

The women started the meet with Warren placing second in the 1650 freestyle in 17:48.98, while Anabelle Dragan placed seventh with a time of 19:18.18 and Beatriz Macario Molina placed 14th with a time of 20:29.03.Â
Dragan was up 20 minutes later with an eighth place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:18.58. Mia Flory was ninth, winning the B final in 2:19.32. Lily Baran placed 12th in 2:34.39.
Tessa Gorby placed seventh in the 100 freestyle in 54.04 while Nelle Hines placed 12th with a 56.81 posted time. Then, Peyton Lawrence placed eighth in the 200 breaststroke in 2:32.88, Gracen Kelly took a time of 2:53.81, and Paislee Hollifield finished in 2:54.72.
McKenna Curry placed seventh in the 200 butterfly with a 2:20.48 result.Â
The day rounded out with the women finishing with a fifth place score in a time of 3:51.08 in the 400 freestyle relay with McKenna Curry, Nelle Hines, Anabelle Dragan, and Tessa Gorby.
The Eagles will look ahead to 2026 as they face Roanoke on the road on Jan. 10.
