LEXINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater women's swimming continued to impress with promising results in day two action at Keydet Invitational all day Saturday.
The women started the meet with a fourth place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:52.86 which was made up of Grace Warren, Peyton Lawrence, Nelle Hines, and Mia Flory.
Nelle Hines was up right after with a 10th place finish in the 100 fly finishing 1:03.81, while Addison Detwiler finished 16th at 1:10:08.
Peyton Lawrence finished fifth in the 400 IM with a 4:52.34, followed by McKenna curry who finished 6th with a 4:52.41 Â
Peyton Lawrence was back soon after in the 100 breast with a ninth place finish (1:10.88), followed by Paislee Hollifield with an 18th place finish with a lifetime best time of 1:15.60, including Kallie Eaton finishing 20th (1:19.09) and Gracen Kelly 23rd (1:21.75).
Grace Warren placed 9th in the 100 backstroke with a 1:00.18, Tessa gorby finished 13th 1:02.23, Mia flory 14th (1:03.30), and anabelle dragon finished 15th (1:03.72)Â
The women finished the night with a fourth place finish in the 800 free relay with an 8:14.56.
The women's team stands at fifth place with 220 points behind Roanoke with 313 points heading into the final day Sunday.
