BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater men's lacrosse head coach Mic Grant announced Ryan Linn, Riley Stewart, CJ McKnight as the 2026 team captains.
Linn started in all 17 matchups and recorded 13 goals, 10 assists, 24 ground balls, and seven forced turnovers in his junior season. The Smithsburg, Md. native was also one of ten BC student-athletes to receive a CSC Academic All-District At Large in the spring.
Stewart, a Centreville, Va. Native, recorded five goals and one assist in his junior campaign. The senior midfielder also recorded six ground balls and three turnovers.
McKnight, a long stick midfielder from Port Republic, Va., appeared in 17 contests last season. McKnight recorded 39 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers last season.
"The team has selected three quality young men to lead the team this season," said Grant. "Apart from establishing the culture and path for our program, they will be tasked with the ultimate obligation of challenging and elevating every teammate so each can realize his best potential. I am looking forward to what each of these young men will bring to the table individually and collectively."
