LYNCHBURG, Va. -Bridgewater College women's track & field posted more record-breaking performances this season at the Liberty Invitational for the fifth annual running of the Brant Tolsma Invitational in a two-day competition Friday and Saturday.
The Eagles showed out with four athletes cracking the all-time program list including a school record finish.
The strong freshman runner Taylor Myers displayed a school-record finish in the 1,000m, clocking a time of 3:04.04 and placing 15th in the event. Jade Buckles also had a strong finish, securing the seventh-fastest time in the 200m with a time of 26.10.
Olivia Bates posted an impressive mark in the triple jump (10.88m), which secured the fifth all-time best mark in school history. That result also shot Bates to the top of the best marks of the young indoor season in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).
Rounding out the quality finishes for the Eagles, Regan Robinson locked in the eighth-fastest time on the top-10 list at Bridgewater in the 3,000m posting a time of 11:01.06.
