YORK, Pa. - Bridgewater College men's swimming completed day two at the Spartan Splash Invitational Saturday.
The Eagles remain in first place after two days in competition at the three-day invitational with a total of 605 points.17 individual men's swimmers qualified for finals in the night session.
Bridgewater kicked off the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay (Christian Carrol, Zach Erb, Andrea Cibrario, and Connor Cayer).
Senior Ean Helmlinger won the 400 individual medley with a personal best time of 4:08.03. Brian Kustowski took second with a 4:25.54 time.
Zachary Erb continued his impressive showing with his second NCAA B cut time of 54.74 in the 100 breaststroke also setting a second ODAC record of 54.74.
Junior Andrea Cibrario placed first in the 100-yard butterfly (51.40) and Connor Cayer finished second (51.48). Cibrario also had a fourth-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:47.97).
Christian Carrol rounded out the day in the finals of the 100 backstroke winning the event hitting the board at 51.04.
The Eagles return for the final day at the Spartan Splash Invitational in York, Pa. The start time is scheduled for 9 a.m.
