Box Score WINCHESTER, Va. – The Bridgewater women's soccer team ended its first conference match up in a tie, 0-0, versus Shenandoah on Wednesday evening.
A matchup of conference foes ended in a 0-0 tie after a thrilling tilt. Both teams had their chances but were unable to muster enough offense to finish the job.
BC held a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks, as well as a 15-10 shot advantage. Lauren Pion and Ashley Sabatino led the Eagles with two shots on goal a piece. Lexi Winkler, Hanna Randolph, and Skyler Daum each had one shot on net.
In 110 minutes of action, Sydney Davis made four saves. She became the women's soccer program's all-time leader in shutouts with her 21st career shutout.
The Eagles will travel to Sweet Briar this Saturday Oct. 2 for a conference match up beginning at 1 p.m.
