BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater ran its record to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the ODAC with a 2-0 victory Wednesday afternoon over Shenandoah.

The Eagles got on the scoreboard late in the first half following a corner kick. Hanna Randolph sent the corner to the top of the box where it was headed in only to be sent back toward the top by a Hornets' defender. Maren Dougherty sent the ball back into the box where Makayla Zanders deflected the ball toward the goal. The ball glanced off the keeper's hands and rolled across the line for the goal, making the score 1-0.

The Eagles utilzied another corner kick opportunity to score their second goal. Randolph again took the corner and sent the ball toward the back post. Skyler Daum's header hit the underside of the crossbar and dropped across the goal line, making the score 2-0 in the 56th minute.

Eagles' keeper Sydney Davis picked up her third shutout of the season. Davis finished the game with three saves.

The Eagles are back in action Sunday when they travel to Salem, Va., to play Roanoke College.
