BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team opened its 2021 season with a Senior Day meet vs. Southern Virginia, losing 128-104.

Beach set a school record with his second place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:03.82), and McCauley added a school record of 56.22 in the 100 free to place second in that race.
It was Senior Day for two Eagles- Tito Alcazar and Ben Williams. Alcazar placed second in both the 200 breast (3:12.96) and 200 IM (2:58.55). Williams recorded a third place finish in the 200 free (2:27.88).
