LEXINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater men's swimming left nothing behind in the first day of the Keydet Invitational, posting impressive results all day long Friday.
The men started the meet with a third place finish in the 200-freestyle relay. Connor Cayer, Kaleb Erb, Zachary Erb, and Christian Carroll closed out a time of 1:23.22 which now stands as the new ODAC leading time in that relay.
The 200 IM was won by Zachary Erb who finished in 1:50.21, which is also another ODAC leading time. His brother Kaleb Erb finished 6th in 1:56.16. Colton White finished 9th with a 1:55.89 in the B final. Kris Schultz finished 17th for a season best time of 1:58.74.
In the 50 freestyle Christian Carroll finished fifth in 20.76, which is another ODAC leading time, while Connor Cayer finished 11th in 21.24.
To close out day one, the men finished the night with a third-place finish in the 400-medley relay (Christian Carroll, Zach Erb, Kaleb Erb, and Connor Cayer), putting up the final ODAC leading time of 3:19.47.
The men will continue tomorrow, Nov. 15 for the second day of full-day action.
