FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced Monday afternoon junior Zachary Erb earned ODAC Men's Swimmer of the Week after an impressive showing at the VMI Keydet Invitational last weekend.
Erb shined in all individual events in the three-day invitational. In the 200 individual medley, Erb finished with a strong time of 1:50.21. After that event, Erb elevated his performances even more, earning himself two NCAA B Cut times in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 Breast with a 54.54 time in the 100 and a 2:00.79 time in the 200.
In addition to those incredible results, Erb was a part of the 200-medley relay with Christian Carroll, Kaleb Erb, and Connor Cayer that sprang up the record book with a record-breaking time of 1:30.64.
The men will compete next on Jan. 10 against Roanoke.
