Box Score LEXINGTON, Va. - The Bridgewater College field hockey team fell 8-0 at No. 14 Washington & Lee on Saturday, the team's second straight game against a nationally ranked program.
Lacking a shot in the first half, Bridgewater took four shots in third quarter and three in the fourth quarter. Caroline Quigley lead the Eagles with five of the those shots followed by Emily Tyler with two.
Brooke Hamm stayed steady in goal posting 15 saves. Claire Ashley also made a defensive save for the Eagles.
Bridgewater, now 4-8 on the year and 1-2 in the ODAC, returns to action when they host Ferrum on Tuesday at Jopson Athletic Complex. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
