BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's soccer team battled Virginia Wesleyan to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon.

 The Basics

• Final Score: Bridgewater – 1, Virginia Wesleyan – 1
• Records: Bridgewater (14-1-3, 6-0-3 ODAC); Virginia Wesleyan (9-5-2, 7-1-1 ODAC)
• Bridgewater will enter the ODAC tournament in the #2 seed.
• This is the first time women's soccer has gone undefeated in conference play.

 How It Happened

• After a scoreless first half, the Eagles got on the board a minute into the second half, when Alicia Keo scored her sixth goal of the season from inside the box beating the goalie low on a pass from Ashley Sabatino.
• At the 77:12 mark, the Marlins would tie the game on a scramble in front of the net. After an initial Sydney Davis save, Adrianna Gunther would score to tie the game.
• After two hard fought overtime periods, the game would conclude in a 1-1 tie.

Match Notes

• Shots were 21-18 in favor of Virginia Wesleyan, while corner kicks favored the Eagles 8-3.
• Sydney Davis made eight saves between the pipes.
• Hanna Randolph led the way for the Eagles with five shots, while Keo, Sabatino, Lexi Winkler and Sofia Carrera each had two.
