Box Score FERRUM, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's soccer team lost to Ferrum, 1-0, in overtime Saturday afternoon.
A scoreless game headed into overtime, in the 95th minute Ferrum netted a goal to win the game.
Bridgewater outshot the Panthers in every half of the game, but were unable to get enough offense to win the game. They held an 18-7 advantage in that category, and a 4-2 advantage in corners. Tyler Deutsch made three saves in goal.
Alex Martinez and Matthew Shelor led the Eagles with two shots on goal.
Next up for Bridgewater, a home matchup against EMU on Wednesday Oct. 6.
