ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Trey Widrick and Riley Queen of the Bridgewater College men's soccer team earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections, announced by the association Tuesday morning.
Widrick earned first team honors following a dominant offensive campaign. The ODAC Offensive player of the year led the conference in shots, goals, and points, and tied in second for assists.
Queen earned third team honors after ranking second in the conference in shots and goals and ranking third in points. The Trinity, N.C. native was a USC fourth teamer last season. Queen was also a member of the All-ODAC first team alongside Widrick.
This was the first time the Eagles had multiple all-region selections in one season. After missing the postseason in the 2024 season, the Eagles recorded 12 wins, tying the program record for most wins in a single season. BC also took home ODAC coach of the year honors for the first time since 2003, and ODAC offensive player of the year honors for the first time since 2004. The Eagles earned the fourth seed in the ODAC tournament and avenged their regular season loss to Virginia Wesleyan in the first round. The Eagles fell to a nationally ranked Lynchburg team in the ODAC semifinals.
