BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's soccer team defeated Randolph College, 3-1 in conference action Saturday afternoon.

 The Basics

• Final Score: Bridgewater – 3, Randolph – 1
• Records: Bridgewater (11-1-2, 4-0-2 ODAC); Randolph (4-9, 1-5 ODAC)

 How It Happened

• The Eagles got on the board first just 3:13 into the game when Skyler Daum made a deceptive move to go by a defender and snipe the goalie to the top right of the net from the left side of the field.
• Alicia Keo scored her third goal of the year in the 26^th minute when she collected a pass near midfield, ripping a shot to the top right corner after making defenders miss.
• Bridgewater would go up 3-0 in the 66^th minute when Ashley Sabatino scored her eighth of the year. Sabatino collected a pass from Madison Crooks on the right-wing side of the field, and from nearly an impossible angle deposited a goal that found the top left corner.
• Randolph would strike back scoring on a penalty kick in the 67^th minute but couldn't gather enough offense to make it any closer than 3-1.

 Match Notes

• BC totaled a blistering 34 shots, to RC's nine.
• Corner kicks were 13-0 in favor of the Eagles, as the defense of Maren Dougherty, Sofia Carrera, Lexi Winkler, and Lindsey Winkels did a good job controlling the Wildcats offensive zone possessions all game.
• Sydney Davis earned her eighth win of the season.
