How It Happened

Trevon Phillips gave Bridgewater the lead in the 33^rd minute as he scored beating two defenders at the top of the box shooting left footed past the diving goalkeeper.
Phillips would notch his second goal of the game giving BC a 2-0 lead in the 65^th minute after a streaking Parker Richard found Luke Stubbs near the left side of the box. Stubbs passed across the box and found the right foot of Phillips to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
Hampden-Sydney scored just three minutes apart in the 73^rd, and 76^th minute to tie the game at two apiece.
After two overtime periods, the score remained a 2-2 tie.

Match Notes

Both goalkeepers were excellent late in the game, as Charles Schweinefuss made a diving save at the 82:05 mark to keep BC alive, and again in the second overtime made a sprawling save to keep the Eagles alive. He had six saves on the day.
Bridgewater totaled 11 shots, including two in the second overtime period.
Matthew Shelor led the way with three shots, and Phillips had two shots that both found the back of the net.
