Box Score FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State scored the game's lone goal with less than a minute left in regulation to hand Bridgewater College a tough 1-0 loss on day two of the Frostburg tournament.
The Eagles appeared destined for its second overtime contest of the weekend, but the Bobcats' Guy Nabo scored with just 33 seconds left on the clock to lift the hosts to the victory.
Bridgewater did put one shot on goal in the final 30 seconds, but Ricky Capuano's shot was turned away by Frostburg keeper Hassan Mostafa, preserving the victory for the Bobcats.
The Eagles had opportunites as they took more than twice as many shots as the Bobcats with a 15-7 edge. Bridgewater also had five corner kicks compared to zero by the host squad. Eight of Bridgewater's shot were on goal while Guy's game-winner was the only Frostburg shot on frame in the contest.
Adam Weisenborn and Capuano each took three shots with two of Capuano's shots on goal. Logan McGlynn also put two shots on goal for BC.
The Eagles, now 0-2-1 on the season, will be back in action next weekend at the St. Mary College Classic. Bridgewater plays the host team on Saturday and then faces Salisbury on Sunday.
