Box Score SWEET BRIAR, Va. - Bridgewater scored three
goals during a 15-minute span in the second half Wednesday
afternoon to pull away from Sweet Briar College and take a 4-0 in
ODAC women's soccer action.
The contest was scoreless until the 30:11 mark when
Bridgewater's Abby Dehoff
(Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) converted a penalty kick to put
the Eagles on the board.
Despite holding an 11-0 edge in shots in the first half,
Dehoff's goal turned out to be the only score as the Eagles went to
the half with a 1-0 lead.
Bridgewater put the game away with a three-goal barrage in the
second half.

Wright (Doswell, Va./Patrick Henry) scored for the Eagles in
the 54th minute with Meghan Groos
(Linden, Va./Warren County) recording the assist to give the Eagles
a 2-0 lead. Less than four minutes later Melanie Waters
(Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake Senior) scored an unassisted goal and
then Groos finished off the scoring with a goal at the 67:02 mark
for the final 4-0 margin.
The Bridgewater defense held the Vixens without a shot during
the entire contest while the Eagles finished the game with 25
shots.
The Eagles are now 3-6-1 overall and 2-2 in the ODAC.
Sweet Briar drops to 4-6 overall and 0-4 in the ODAC.
