FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College Eagles suffered a tough 2-1 double-overtime loss Sunday afternoon against the University of Mary Washington.

After a scoreless first half, Mary Washington scored first when Chrissy Reardon took a pass from Amy Olson and scored at the 66:23 mark to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

Mary Washington held the lead until the 80th minute when Bridgewater's Meghan Groos (Linden, Va.,/Warren County) found the back of the net to tie the score at 1-1.

Regulation ended at 1-1 and after a scoreless first overtime, Mary Washington scored the game-winner at the 1:04.27 mark on a goal by Tina Rader.

Mary Washington held a 15-9 edge in shots and an 8-5 edge in corner kicks. Bridgewater goalkeeper Cari Hensley (Danville, Va./George Washington) finished the contest with eight saves.
