Bridgewater's women's soccer season came to end Saturday when the Eagles lost to No. 1 seed Virginia Wesleyan, 4-0, in the opening round of the ODAC tournament.

The Marlins took control early, scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes. Courtney Whorten scored the Marlins first goal and Jerilyn Sweeney scored off an assist from Brittany Moseley to make it 2-0.

Virginia Wesleyan led 3-0 at the half after a goal by Danielle Fiedler.

The Eagles finish their season with a 6-12-1 record.
