BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Four memebers of the Bridgewater College Softball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team announced earlier today.
Mackenzie Cauthorn,
McKenna Mueller,
Kaelyn Ramsey and
Jordan Wise all earned the accolade for the Eagles, highlighted by the second-straight selection for Cauthorn, Mueller and Wise.
Cauthorn adds another accolade to an award-filled 2025 season that saw her take home Third Team All-Region, First Team All-ODAC and multiple ODAC Player of the Week honors. The junior had a record-setting season during her junior campaign as she set career bests all the way across the board, including a pair of program records. Cauthorn set a new program-high with 10 shutouts and tied the single-season strikeout record with 118 punchouts.
Mueller picks up her second Academic All-District nod in as many seasons after already taking home Second Team All-ODAC honors earlier this spring. The junior sits at 99 career hits and was the only BC player to see action and start all 43 games in the Eagles' record-setting campaign. The junior recorded career highs in many offensive categories, including a .300 batting average and 20 RBI. The BC shortstop also tallied 12 stolen bases, more than twice her single-season high from her previous two seasons.
Ramsey adds her first Academic All-District accolade to go along with a spot on the All-ODAC Second Team earlier this month. The junior set career highs across the board offensively, highlighted by ranking second in the ODAC with five home runs. Her .522 slugging percentage and nine stolen bases were both over twice her previous single-season highs in those categories.
Wise picks up her second CSC accolade in as many seasons after seeing action all over the field for the Eagles in 2025. The junior saw action in 41 games for BC and set career bests in batting average and on-base percentage to go along with a team-high 16 walks. An all-conference selection last season, Wise also set career-highs in doubles, runs scored and RBI in 2025.
