WINCHESTER, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's tennis team fell to No. 51 Shenandoah 7-0 on Monday evening.
The Hornets clinched the doubles point with quick wins at No. 1 and No. 3, but the Eagles provided resistance at the No. 2 spot.
Mark Gordon and
Eli Morela forced a tiebreak before falling 6-7(2).
Singles action went much in the way of SU, but solid performances still emerged from the Eagles.
Corey Beshoar fell in two tight sets at the No. 2 spot 3-6, 2-6, and
Coree Nicely fell at No. 6 2-6, 1-6.
The Eagles wrap up the regular season on Tuesday as they host Johnson and Wales (N.C.)
