How It Happened
- The teams traded shots in the third minute of action with Bridgewater keeper Micah Stine making a save on a shot by Catholic's Isabel Doherty.
- Bridgewater put its first shot on goal in the 20th minute when Skylar Daum's shot was denied by Catholic keeper Ava Rieger.
- Catholic had a corner kick late in the first half but failed to convert as the first half ended with the score tied 0-0.
- Bridgewater had its best opportunity to score in the second half during a two-minute span beginning in the 67th minute. The Eagles had three shots, including two on goal, and two corner kicks, but could not convert. Lyric Birkley's shot from deep was off target and a minute later Daum's shot was cleared off the line by a defender, giving the Eagles a corner kick. Daum put another shot on frame that was saved by Rieger, resulting in another corner but the Eagle were unable to take advantage of the set piece..
- Catholic scored the game's lone goal in the 73rd minute. Sara Placide's shot was saved by Stine, but A.J. Hudock, who had just entered the game, followed up and put her shot in the back of the net for a 1-0 Catholic lead.
- Bridgewater had one final shot in the final minute, but Laura Narby's attempt was off target.
