Men's Soccer Wins Third Straight

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Bridgewater defeated Penn State-Harrisburg 1-0 Wednesday night in a non-conference contest.

How It Happened
  • Bridgewater had the first offensive opportunity, earning a corner kick in the 11th minute, but the Eagles were unable to get a shot off.
  • The Lions then went on the offensive, firing off three shots in the next 10 minutes, but none were on frame.
  • The Eagles threatened again midway through the half, earning a pair of corner kick opportunities. On the second set piece, Alex Raudales put his shot on frame but Lions' keeper Shayon Kashi made the save. Three minutes later, the Eagles earned two more corners but were unable to get off a shot attempt.
  • The Lions had a corner late in the half but a shot by Griffen Martello sailed high.
  • Bridgewater scored the game's lone goal in the 74th minute when Trey Widrick found the back of the net off an assist from Ashby Barbee.
  • The Eagles' defense held the Lions without a shot the rest of the way to secure the 1-0 victory.
