Swimming Bests St. Mary's Maryland in Home Opener

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College swimming totaled 166 points for the women and 162 for the men in a win over St. Mary's College in Nininger Pool Saturday.

The Eagles collected 19 gold medal finishes for both men and women. The high point leader for the men would be sophomore Zachary Erb after three gold medal finishes and one silver. The women would be led by sophomore Peyton Lawrence with two gold medal finishes in and two silvers.
Notes  

  • Junior Grace Warren broke a personal best (PB) in the 800 Freestyle placing first with a time of 9:48.73.  
  • Sophomore Alessandro Nani received a gold, silver, and bronze result placing second in the high point standings. 
  • To continue the strong performances on the day, sophomore McKenna Curry finished strong with a gold, silver, and bronze medal result including a PB in the 100 S Freestyle going 1:02.97.
