Box Score FERRUM, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Ferrum on Sunday afternoon.
BC opened the match by sweeping the doubles matches.
Ryan Roeber and
Emma Nesselrodt teamed up for an 8-3 win at the top spot,
Grace Knighton and
Malena Hoover picked up an 8-1 win at No. 2 and
Emily Wylie and
Felicity Copenhaver completed the sweep with an 8-2 win at the No. 3 slot.
Nesselrodt was the first one off in singles action with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the top spot. Wylie followed her with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep on court six.
Emily Daigneault kept the theme going with a 6-0, 6-0 win of her won at the No. 2 spot. Hoover and Roeber each picked up 6-2, 6-1 wins at the No. 3 and No. 5 spots respectively while Knighton finished the match off with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court four.
BC is back in action on Monday as Hollins makes the trip up I-81. Action is set to start at 4 p.m.
