FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Sarah Slagle and Kira Doyne the Bridgewater College women's tennis team competed at the ITA Southeast Regional on Sunday.

Day one of the event saw BC's matches pushed to Sunday after rain limited court availability on Saturday.

The Eagles duo opened the day with a walkover in the opening round of doubles action before taking on a duo from Lynchburg in the quarterfinals of the B1 doubles draw. The pairing fell 1-6 in the first match of the day, and droppedtheir consolation match against Lebanon Valley by the same score line.

Both players competed in the B3 singles draw later in the day. Slagle fell 4-8 in her opening round match to Lynchburg's Ashley Hair, while Doyne fell 2-8 to a player from Gettysburg. Slagle got a walkover in her first consolation match while Doyne fell in her consolation match, before matches were canceled for the remainder of the draw. 

The Eagles are back in action at the Randolph Invitational on Nov. 1.
